Valorant insider reveals new agents name, Deadlock

Valorant is quite famous for the aesthetics that it has maintained throughout its inception. Thoroughly working on its map and an enormous amount of details in the game. Valorant keeps it in top-notch shape through various upgrades and changes that it makes to keep up with the increasing demand. This time around, players will get to see a new agent, who is confirmed and called “Deadlock.”

There’s a great hype around the new upcoming agent ever since it was revealed in Dev Diaries video a few weeks ago. It is going to be 5th sentinel agent in Valorant. Players received the last sentinel agent almost 2 years ago as Chamber. Fans are anticipating her to shake up this Killjoy and Cypher heavy team comps.

Valorant’s newest sentinel agent “DEADLOCK”

Prominent Valorant insider Mike aka ValorLeaks revealed the official name for upcoming agent 22 in Valorant.

Deadlock will be the second agent this year after Gekko. Riot has not revealed too much information about the agent as of now. Valorant executive developer Anna Donlon described this Sentinel as “one who will stop you dead in your tracks and pull you in for a closer look” in the last Dev Diaries video. Pro players got to take a look at the new agent in the latest video.

Various players from teams like NRG, EG, and FNATIC had their ideas to express. Potter, the head coach of the EG team, described Deadlock saying, “She looks pissed all the time, she looks like she’s going to take over some sh*t, she is on the mission.” Boaster from FNATIC expressed his idea of Deadlock in words, saying, “Strict, Stern, and get the job done.”

Whereas the LOUD player SAADHAK had pretty graphic words to describe Agent 23 the young players said, “The one who goes to action and will beat everyone up.” When it came to guessing the role of a new hero, ZEST from DRX described it by saying, “She’s like a mobile Sentinel that can play various roles”.

Giving his strategic view on Deadlock, YHCHEN from ATTACKING SOUL eSports said, ” I think this agent might be able to limit Killjoy“.

It is still a well-preserved mystery what Agent 23 “DEADLOCK” looks like or what her capabilities will be like. But the good news is that fans will not have much longer.
