Parma Senior Center vans deliberately set on fire; police vow to find 'cowardice lowlife'
PARMA, Idaho (CBS2) — Two vans owned by the Parma Senior Center destroyed in a weekend fire were deliberately destroyed.
Local police said this week that the state Fire Marshal's Office and investigators confirmed the fire was arson. Not surprisingly, the small town police department is not too pleased.
"The Parma Police Department has made this investigation our priority to track down and (will) prosecute the cowardice lowlife(s) that committed this act. We may not find out who committed this act today, this week, or maybe this month. BUT, we will find who is responsible," police said on social media.
The vans are used for the town's Meals-on-Wheels program and assisting seniors get to their appointments.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 208-722-5900 ref: 20PP-1826. You can remain anonymous.
