Lenny Kravitz’s beloved dog Leroy Brown was adopted in 2009 and sadly passed away in 2021. Leroy Brown’s breed is “Bahamian Potcake”, with “Potcakes” the name given to mixed breed dogs found throughout the Caribbean. Kravitz posted this tribute to Leroy Brown on Instagram, “Leroy Brown 2009-2021. Thank you for sharing your life with me. You blessed me with unconditional love while watching me go through it all. You were next to me during my best and my worst. We circled the globe over and over together, teaching each other what we could. You were the best. A true Bahamian Potcake. Jojo and I are missing you deeply.”

Like Kravitz’s late dog Leroy Brown, his other dog Jojo Dancer is also a rescued “Bahamian Potcake”. He adopted Jojo in 2016.
