Tips to Find Secret Rooms

Here some tips:

  • There always has to be space for the room, so look for walls that don’t have areas underneath them (usually left side walls or on the bottom of the map).
  • There can be few or none on a floor, multiple on a floor, or even multiple in a room.
  • If you can, try to save your anima for those rooms (If you won’t die from the next hit, and have room for more anima, don’t use until a room comes along).
  • Dash INTO walls that fit #1 as opposed to cutting corners to save time. You don’t save that much time, and you miss out on some important stuff.
  • I didn’t pay much attention to them until I got into the later runs (Breakdown 6+), but eventually they likely become the make or break in your runs, as they have prisms, health and big money in them.
  • (Should probably be #1) The locks show up blue when you touch the wall that contains it.
