Upper Wildwoods

Finding all Jewels of Yggdrasil is required to fully repair the Amulet of Yggdrasil. Initially the amulet has only 2 of 9 slots unlocked, each jewel allows you to unlock an additional slot. In total, you can find 7 jewels.

Jewel of Yggdrasil (Midgard #1) It drops from the Frost Phantom during "The Word of Fate" main quest.

Jewel of Yggdrasil (Midgard #2) You can find it inside the Midgard Legendary Chest (The Oarsmen).

Kvasir's Poems 14/14 - The Dead Do Not Ride After opening the entrance to the legendary chest (by pulling a large chain), return to the cave and climb up again near the Nornir chest. The layout of the rocks has changed somewhat and this time you will climb into a small room where you will find the artifact.

Nordic Gourd This is one of the ingredients you need to find to complete the favor "Across the Realms".

You must find all the Odin's Ravens to complete the "Eyes of Odin" favor. When you find one of Odin's Ravens, you need to destroy it with one of your weapons. Once you've destroyed enough of them (6/12/18/28/38/48), return to the Raven Tree in Niflheim to open the unlocked legendary chest and receive rewards for doing that.

You can find 60+ Legendary Chests in God of War Ragnarök, 53 of which must be found to complete all realms at 100%. None of these 53 chests can be missed. They are large gold chests and always contain some sort of reward.

Midgard Legendary Chest It does not count towards the completion of this realm. Contains: Sonic Aftershock (Accessory). You can open this chest during the main mission "Old Friends", after the meeting with Freya.

Midgard Legendary Chest (Lake of Nine) Contains: Lion's Roar Sauroter (Draupnir Spear Handle). To access this chest you must have the Draupnir Spear and use it to destroy the ice rock.

Midgard Legendary Chest (Raider Hideout) Contains: Tartarus Rage (Blades of Chaos - Heavy Runic Attack). It's in the "Raider Hideout" cave.

Midgard Legendary Chest (Raiders Stronghold) Contains: Cyclone of Chaos (Blades of Chaos - Light Runic Attack). This chest is in the "Raiders Stronghold" area.

Midgard Legendary Chest (The Derelict Outpost) Contains: Ivaldi's Anvil (Leviathan Axe - Heavy Runic Attack).

Midgard Legendary Chest (The Lost Treasury) Contains: Sigil Punishment (Accessory). To get to this chest you must start by moving the large shield covering the entrance to the right. Then you will be able to climb up it to the right side.

Midgard Legendary Chest (The Oarsmen) Contains: Jewel of Yggdrasil. This legendary chest is located in the same room as the Mystic Gate but on the other side of the cleft so to get to it you must first go outside and walk around.

Midgard Legendary Chest (Well of Urd) Contains: Rond of Purification (Shield Attachment). The chest is behind in a small room hidden behind a stone slab that you have to smash.

Midgard Nornir Chest (Raider Hideout) It's inside the "Raider Hideout" cave. You must light three braziers to unlock this chest. The first one is located behind the red vines to the left of the chest. You must use sigil arrows and burn the vines and then use sigil arrows again to ignite the brazier. You can also use a grenade you find in the cave to ignite this brazier.

Midgard Nornir Chest (The Lost Treasury) To unlock this chest you must ignite three braziers. To get to all of them you must follow the same steps that are needed to reach the Midgard Legendary Chest (The Lost Treasury).

Midgard Nornir Chest (The Oarsmen) To unlock this chest you should throw your axe at three bells within a short interval. For this to be possible you must first remove the obstacle blocking access to one of them.

Midgard Nornir Chest (Well of Urd) To unlock this chest you must light three braziers. They are all located on the surrounding rocks and all you have to do is to get close enough and use the Blades of Chaos.

Hilt of Skofnung Effect: "The sword unleashes its power from the souls within." Upgrades increase the strength of this effect. It drops from King Hrolf Kraki in King's Grave in Midgard. This boss can only be fought after completing all Berserker Gravestones.

Mystical Heirloom Effect: "Awakens something dormant, deep down inside of the bearer." You can use this relic to reawaken slumbering trolls and engage them in the fights.

Demise of Dagestr (Treasure) Contains: Helheim's Force (Amulet Enchantment), 40x Shattered Rune (Unique Resource), 2x Asgardian Ingot, 2x Petrified Bone, 2x Luminous Alloy.

Viking's Gift (Treasure) Contains: Midgard's Justice (Amulet Enchantment), 25x Shattered Rune, 1x Stonewood, 1x Dwarven Steel, 1x Honed Metal.

Across the Realms To start this favor pick up the recipe lying on the ground near the campfire. To complete this favor you need to find four ingredients: Nordic Gourd (Midgard), Prongfruit (Svartalfheim), Bantam Melon (Vanaheim) and Elven Cap (Alfheim). Reward: Meal of Comfort (Permanently increases all stats by 5).

Animal Instincts This quest will begin after you clear the first of four raider camps.

Guiding Light This quest will start automatically when you find the first of the runes.

Sigrun's Curse This quest will start automatically when you and your companion reach the door which is located in the same cave where the Midgard Legendary Chest (The Lost Treasury) stands.

Sigurn's Curse This favour is automatically started after arriving at The Derelict Outpost Entrance.

The Last Remnants of Asgard This favor will start automatically after the main storyline of the game and the end credits. At that time, you should be more or less in this location.

Closing all 6 Hel Tears is required to complete the favor "Hel to Pay". Hel Tears are the source of the Frozen Sparks. When you collect all 6 sparks then they will turn into the Frozen Flame, an item that will allow you to upgrade your axe.

Nine Realms in Bloom. Collecting all nine flowers is the objective of the "Nine Realms in Bloom" favor. This favor appears in your journal when you find the first of the flowers. The flowers are located in places you will reach in the later stages of the game and some of them you will be able to collect only after completing the main storyline of the game. Once you collect all nine flowers, you will unlock "The Florist" trophy.
