Bobbi Kristina Brown Attacked Whitney Houston, Attempted to Commit Suicide as a Teen, Source Claims
Nearly two weeks after Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub, the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown remains comatose in an Atlanta hospital.
New details of Bobbi Kristina’s life in the period leading up to her latest misfortune seem to emerge ever day, including today’s claim that she was spending $5,000 a week on drugs in recent months.
But a new report from The National Enquirer claims that in order to find the root of Bobbi Kristina’s self-destructive behavior, you have to go all the way back to 2008, when she was just 14 years old.
A family friend named Ann Davis tells the Enquirer that Bobbi Kristina – distraught over her parents’ divorce – tried to stab her troubled mother and then turned the knife on herself and attempted suicide.
“Bobbi Kristina had been running around drinking and partying, doing what she wants to do,” Davis claims. “She and her mother had been arguing a lot.”
Bobbi was eventually subdued and committed to a nearby hospital for psychiatric care.
“Bobbi Kristina was transferred and spent three days at Peachford psychiatric hospital,” Davis recalls.
Whitney Houston died less than four years after that incident, and insiders say the loss of her mother caused an already-fragile Bobbi Kristina to finally break.
After a grim prognosis from doctors, the family is expected to remove Bobbi Kristina from life support some time this week.
